20% of your bugs are causing 80% of your problems – we find the 20%, show you why they matter, and give you the tools you need to fix them. It’s the product quality platform for product-led teams.
Everything you need to debug, in one shareable link
Create auto-generated bug reports, share retroactive screenshots and devtools, all in one click.
The DevReports chrome extension acts like a dashcam for your browser. Instantly share your steps, screenshots, network requests, and console logs to recreate an issue.
Hey Product Hunt! Animesh here 👋
Writing bug reports sucks. Everyone knows it, and we felt it while building PlayerZero.
How did you get there?
What are the steps to reproduce?
Can you open the network tab?
So we decided to build a chrome extension that would cache the last few minutes of activity. Then, if you ever ran into a bug we could automatically upload that context, create a URL, and Slack that to our team. Bam.
Today, we’re opening up our internal tool to the world. And we’re doing it for free.
Give it a try today, it has everything you need to debug, all in one package:
✅Device metadata
✅Steps to Reproduce
✅DOM Snapshots / Screenshots
✅Network Logs
✅Console Logs
✅Session / Local Storage
Install the chrome extension for your team today and decrease the time you spend reporting bugs to a single click.
@joshua_molinare thanks! We tried to mirror the regular Chrome DevTools as much as we could to create a familiar and comfortable experience. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Were you able to explore some of the features like screenshot annotating or local storage / session storage capturing? It takes the experience to a whole other level
This is the most helpful feature for any developer and QA. Internally we used this feature and it helps a lot. It has good set of things like steps with screenshots, Console log, Network history and Local/Session Storage. which are useful while debugging a bug.
Personally i like this feature and using it from beta version itself, and it helps plus saves a lot of time in debugging/reproducing a bug. I would recommend this to all.
We were looking for a tool that ...
1. Provides a curated list of issues that are happening in our production and for that matter all of our different environments.
2. Show us the impact of each issue and how it is affecting our customers.
3. Filtering issues based on customers. For us, some customers are far too critical for our success and we like to provide them with proactive support/service
4. Allow our entire team to be on the same page. From Customer to Support, Product Leads, QA and Engineering.
5. Show engineering exactly what happened (step by step), with dev tools and access to browser dev tools for each of those steps.
6. HIPAA and Soc-2 compiant. Very important for us.
PlayerZero satisfied all the checkboxes for us.
PlayerZero has now become the first thing we discuss in our DSM.
No more 'Game of Telephone' within our organization anymore.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants to streamline and make the entire organization efficient.
