Hiring developers? 📊 Devmatch is a recruiting AND learning platform for recruiters to assess candidates for real-world coding skills, rank candidates, and view unique analytics. 🕹 We provide developers with realistic coding assessments to get hired.
👋 Hi Product Hunt community! I’m Nancy Le, PM intern for Devmatch. This is our startup’s VERY FIRST public launch and we are super excited to share it with you. Through our realistic coding assessments, DevMatch’s aim is to help recruiters and hiring managers assess qualified candidates and help developers/job seekers build the skills they need to get hired as software engineers.
Why DevMatch?
🎯 Current coding interviews measure the incorrect skills → Devmatch uses realistic coding assessments that assess candidates based on the company’s own stack and codebase.
⏱️ Interviewing is very energy intensive → Devmatch provides a platform that automatically tests a candidate’s engineering skills, making the hiring process less time consuming.
🖼️ Promising candidates are lost due to irrelevant assessments → DevMatch’s take home assessments provide a glimpse into engineering skills the company really values, which is more engaging for candidates.
👥 Who is this for?
1. Hiring Managers looking to save time on hiring whilst finding high quality candidates.
2. Recruiters look to save time on hiring whilst finding high quality candidates.
3. Developers & Job Seekers looking to build their skills and get hired.
DevMatch is currently still in *BETA*, so some components of the platform are still quite buggy. Feel free to test the platform as a recruiter and/or a candidate. Report bugs to hello@devmatch.io or join our discord below.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on:
- What did you like or dislike about the experience? (in terms of UI, bugginess, realisticness of the assessment questions, the instantaneous feedback provided to the candidate, etc.)
- Did you enjoy solving the problems? Would you complete an assessment like this for fun/to practice your coding skills? Share with friends/colleagues?
- Do you think the assessment reflects your technical skills? Would this kind of assessment bring value to a recruiter?
🎉 DevMatch is FREE for the next 3 MONTHS (until March 12th, 2023). Feel free to join our discord community (https://discord.gg/dYwF2U3Sqc), and our makers will be online responding to your comments throughout the day. Thank you for reading, we hope you give us a try!
@nancyle@danielrs Congratulations on your launch! It sounds like DevMatch is revolutionizing the way recruiters and hiring managers assess qualified candidates, and helping developers/job seekers build the skills they need to get hired as software engineers.
Hey there, Product Hunt community! 👋 I'm Daniel Rodriguez Suarez, UX Designer at DevMatch. We're excited to announce the public launch of our startup.
DevMatch is a tool that streamlines the hiring process for software engineers by offering realistic coding assessments.
🎯 Our goal is to help recruiters and hiring managers identify qualified candidates and support developers and job seekers in building the skills they need to succeed in the tech industry. ⏱ We're proud to introduce DevMatch as a solution that improves the hiring experience for both developers and job seekers.
As a UX Designer at DevMatch, I'm thrilled to share our innovative tool with the Product Hunt community. 🎉 Let us know what you think!
DevMatch is a great alternative to HackerRank and leetCode for evaluating software engineering candidates. Their problem sets are much closer to real-world tasks than any other option out there.
