Very cool to see how Detour has evolved since it's launch over 3 years ago. They've expanded into a platform to enable more people to create audio tours and experiences. Very timely with the rise of audio and our inevitable Her-like future. 😉
@rrhoover I personally have been thinking that Detour is the most practical consumer facing AR product today. Been looking forward to them opening this up.
Detour is easily one of my favorite apps this summer. After having tried a couple of audio walks in Paris recently, I'm blown away by how much fun they are and how well they work. Actually thinking of creating an audio tour for Amsterdam soon!
@juanbuis@theoblochet Thanks for the support! Would love to help both of you successfully create a Detour and get it published on the Detour app for everyone to enjoy. I'm at alex@detour.com if you guys want to share any of your tour ideas and get some internal feedback and support :-)
@theoblochet@andrewmason can a shortcut to that be "SF MOMA (ENG)" vs "SF MOMA(RUS)" ...etc ? Instead of adding fancy language features, allow diff files for download. Boom, available as a feature right away :)
