Depthforge

Hey everyone! KP here, the creator of Depthforge. I'm really excited to finally share this project with the world and hear your thoughts. When we first started working on Depthforge, our goal was to create an app that would make 3D content creation accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical skills or experience. We knew that the immersive capabilities of Apple Vision Pro had the potential to revolutionize the way people interact with 3D content, and we wanted to be at the forefront of that shift. We are starting with 3D immersive images as oppose to 3D models which are a different thing all together. One of the biggest challenges we faced was figuring out how to generate 3D images on the fly and then allow them to be moved around coherently in the user's space. It took a lot of late nights and deep dives into math concepts like quaternions, but I'm incredibly proud of what we have accomplished. The built-in prompt generator is one of my favorite features of Depthforge. As someone who loves to tinker and experiment with new ideas, I know how frustrating it can be to hit a creative wall. We designed the prompt generator to be a sort of creative kickstarter - a way to get the juices flowing and inspire new possibilities. We've got some really exciting things planned for the future of Depthforge, including sharing capabilities and iCloud sync. We're also working on some unique experiences that I can't wait to share with you all. I know that limiting Depthforge to Apple Vision Pro might seem like a controversial choice, but we truly believe that this platform offers an unparalleled opportunity to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI-generated 3D content. As a small team, we wanted to focus our efforts on creating the best possible experience for a specific set of users, rather than spreading ourselves too thin. I'm really looking forward to hearing your feedback and ideas as you dive into Depthforge. This is just the beginning of what we believe will be an incredible journey, and we couldn't be more excited to have you all along for the ride.
