What do you think? …

Adam Whitten
Hi Friends! First and foremost, thank you so much for checking out our latest product: Day Stats! This was a fun and rewarding project to be apart of. I linked up with Nikita on an iOS Development slack channel. He had posted a project he had just finished. I checked it out and realized his initial idea was an app idea I had dreamed about forever. I wanted something simple, not full of fluff and items and customizations that could eventually skew my progress. This app did just that for me! I asked him if he needed a UI UX Designer to help him improve the app, and gave me the thumbs up and brought me into his world of iOS Development! My role in this app was strictly visual and helping make the overall experience pleasing. Day Stats was designed with the simplest habit tracking, goal producing, mark hitting, thought process in mind. We took the simplest form of progress tracking and applied here in this app. I spend countless hours checking my phone, responding to emails, eyes glued to a Sketch file for a new project. I needed an app that was going to hold me accountable. I tried 100 different apps for habit tracking but they all were too mind boggling. The UI was cluttered, the settings were outrageous, and the way you had to input marking task or goals off your list was not what I was looking for. For example: Something I wanted to improve in my life was reading more. I open my Day Stats app and add Reading to my metrics list. At the end of every day, I open the app and score my “Reading” metric from 1-10. 1, being I didn’t do well, or didn’t hit my personal goal; 10, being I crushed it, I read a good 10 chapters of a book. Over time, I can check my progress by looking at my summary. I have the option to see my progress by week, month, quarter, and year! I can then take that information and make informed decisions on how I can better different aspects of my life. I hope you all enjoy this app as much as we do. Of course any and all feedback is appreciated for improvements. Happy Hunting, Adam.
