Hi Hunters!! I'm Martina, co-founder of Customily. Together with @alejandro_lozdziejski, we have built a tool that makes it easy for online stores to sell personalized products. This story starts with someone misunderstanding our pitch (believe it or not sometimes not being clear about what you do can have a huge upside lol). At the time we were working on a computer-generated 3D printed jewelry line when we were introduced to a client that was doing personalized engraved jewelry. This guy had no interest in 3D printing but he was facing a tremendous pain selling his personalized products. As the guy was so insisting we decided to start learning more about the world of personalization in eCommerce, and since then, we never looked back. What did we learn? 🐌 Personalization is set out to be the next frontier in eCommerce (personalized gifts was n1 search term on Etsy 2020!), however, it’s run manually. It’s slow and prone to errors since a designer has to interpret what the customer ordered, making it unscalable. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s also uncertain, as there is no way for customers to know exactly how their personalization will look like before buying (and there are no refunds if you don’t like it since it was made just for you). What we built Software that gives shoppers a simple but powerful design tool that shows instant previews of their personalization, and then automatically transforms their designs into ready-to-print, engrave or embroider files. 😍 Using Customily’s design studio stores can define personalization parameters for their products and publish them to their e-commerce so their customers can easily personalize them while seeing a live preview. Increasing sales by reducing customers' uncertainty and returns. 🤖 Then, when an order is submitted, Customily automatically translates the personalization into a ready to print, engrave or embroider file. Reducing fulfillment time and costs by more than half! Who is Customily for?
