Can I just drag an entire folder into the app or do I have to select each file one by one in bulk mode?
@max_lincoln Currently, you need to select files individually in bulk mode. The app supports dragging multiple files at once, but not entire folders. Users can either drag multiple video files simultaneously or use the file picker to select multiple files, but folder-level drag and drop isn't implemented yet.
Probably I will consider folder level upload in next version if this gets enough interest.
Does it support HEVC (H.265) encoding?
@manday_m_kramer Yes, CrushVid automatically uses the most advanced video compression available on your Mac, including the newer H.265 format when it will give you the best results. The app is smart enough to choose the right compression method for each video - you don't need to worry about technical settings. It will automatically pick H.265 when it makes your files smaller while keeping the same quality, and stick with H.264 when that works better. This happens behind the scenes, so you get the benefits without any complexity!
