Hi ProductHunt community! Thanks for checking this out. I've been on the job hunt recently, and I found myself using GPT-3 to generate cover letters quite often because I was happy to alleviate any part of the repetitiveness of the process. I then had the brilliant idea to procrastinate job applications by making an extension that would make it even easier to do this. Thus CoverPro was born. I did a lot of experimentation with GPT-3 to find a prompt that works, which was harder than it may sound - it really likes to just repeat things verbatim and give exhaustive lists, but I think it's in a pretty good place now. Please send me any feedback you have, regardless of the sentiment. My goal with this project is basically to help as many people as possible get interviews. I wish I could make it free, but I don't have the money to finance that so I'm using a credits system to cover OpenAI API usage, with 5 credits free as people try it out.
