For me it was "out of sight, out of mind" for all of the app based managers. Of course I'm biased, but after 5 years it has proven to be highly effective.
Little back story.
My father has always been an avid product inventor (he created the company that became Angie's List). Back in the 90's one of his less than stellar ideas was called The Corbinizer, a large briefcase that had specific sections defined for organization. I would continually mock the ego centric nature of the product and it's overt simplicity.
Fast forward to 2009, I start using a folded piece of paper to manage my tasks - to which my father, returning the favor, started mocking me. In retaliation, I productize the joke and call it the "Corbinizer". Little did I know that so many people would find it as helpful as I do.
