Compare drones on features like price, brand, category, camera resolution and more. I've just recently added the ability to rate drones on features like coolness, durability and ease to fly!

Unusual to have some many upvotes at the start of the day! 39 already. When I checked most are new profiles, without any history, no followers yet, etc. How you can explain this?

@dainiskanopa yeah I’ve been following that as well and I’m really not sure. I hunted it yesterday my time (25 hours ago) and started getting such votes almost straight away. It clearly doesn’t help, since I was at one point higher then most of top ten in votes alone but wasn’t on the popular list. Products that have votes from lots of established hunters easily outrank me. And I think that’s a good thing

Howdy 👋Copterlist is a solo-side project I've been working on for a few of months. Previously I created Built with Shopify, so I knew how great filtered and data-driven content could be. As someone who was working and travelling full-time, I was visiting Nomadlist almost every day. In his IH interview, Peter mentioned how the crowdsourced data model should be applied to other industries, and it inspired me to create a similar model around another field I love - drones! Building - I've linked a medium article where I discuss what went into building the initial product. I've since added a bunch of features including the crowd sourced component. It's built from the ground up using Node.js and hoping to use this template for other industries in the future. Growth - Initially I'm looking to gain as many crowd sourced data points as possible to make the site's reviews unique and valuable. I've created a new Slack community where people can discuss this data and other points of interest. Monetization - The site uses Amazon affiliate links at the moment, since this site is really designed for people at the final stages of the purchasing decision. In the future, I'd like to expand on this, but also potentially monetise the Slack community. Hi Josh. Nice job! Found a small glitch: when filters are set to 'Photography' and '<$750', the highest and lowest price sorting don't work. That is, setting them doesn't sort prices. Not sure if only when these specific filters are set.

@luca_spanjaard interesting 🤔I redid some of the filtering last week so I could use numeric values instead of grouping things into categories. Might be something to do with that so I'll fix it up. Thanks!!
