Build your own cookbook by collecting recipes from social media, websites, and more - then sync them automatically to your favorite spaces such as Obsidian and Notion. Cooksync is the transport layer for your recipes, not another place to manage them.
Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Andreas - an entrepreneur and wannabe chef based in Sweden. As I’ve been trying to level up in the kitchen, I wanted a simple way to collect recipes, guides, and cooking frameworks.
I’m a heavy Obsidian user, and inspired by the Obsidian philosophy of giving you full control over your data, I wanted to bring that same idea to recipes.
Instead of building another app to store your recipe collection, Cooksync acts as a transport layer - importing recipes from anywhere and syncing them to the tools you already use. Use the Chrome extension for websites or the mobile app for social media. Once imported, recipes are automatically synced to either Obsidian or Notion (with more platforms coming soon).
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and ideas!
Loving the recipe aggregation idea; super helpful! 👍
Great concept with a well-designed, user-friendly platform.
