Conversion Calculator

Hi Product Hunt! My name is Kornel, I’m the maker of conversioncalculator.net. I know, I know. This is just another unit / currency / etc converter. I hope it’s not. When I developed this, my aim was to make the conversion much easier, simpler and regarding the result, more understandable. How it works? Select the unit you want to convert from, then the unit you want to convert to. Then enter the value you want to convert in the box. The conversion happens immediately. The Conversion Calculator works in both directions: If you enter a value in the other field, it can also change the unit back from it. You can also decide how many decimal digits you would like to see in the result. If you click on the Clear button, you can delete the digits you have already entered. To easily read and understand the conversion, the calculator also shows the conversion result as text like ‘1 mile (mi) = 1.6093 kilometer (km)’. Besides the usual unit converters like length, area, volume, weight/mass, power, pressure, temperature and speed, we have some special conversion calculators like currency, time and roman numerals.
