CommitSheet

Turn Github commits into battle-tested invoices. Free!

The first invoicing tool specifically for developers. Devs leave a history of their work with git commits; why not turn that data into beautiful, detailed invoices and save hours every month. Select dates and repos you worked on. Add styles and billing information. Export a detailed invoice as PDF or HTML. It's that easy. Plus, it's FREE !

Git Time Tracker (CommitSheet)

Generate timesheets from GitHub code history. Free

https://go.commitsheet.com is a free timetracking tool for recruiters and developers that generates detailed timesheets from Github commit history. I made it to speed up my own timesheet creation and thought I'd share it with everyone. Your thoughts and suggests are much appreciated! Jack

Doesn't this put too much emphasis in something that is almost secondary to the development process? As in "lines of code" approach to developer productivity?

@ugo_alves good point. I built this because employers kept asking me for a log of what I did each month. I'm not very good at manually tracking that stuff or recalling it after the fact, but I do write reasonably descriptive commit messages. CommitSheet just takes your commits messages across a date range and includes them in your timesheet. You can also add a generic comment to cover work that doesn't appear in git (such as meetings, planning, research etc).
