ADHD co-exists as many things at once: A superpower, an impairment, a difference. At its center is a person. Sometimes cognizant, productive, and flourishing. Other times caught in the gravitational force of something so strong they are unmoved even by the approach of enormous emotional, financial, or even legal consequences.

I've had ADHD my whole life, diagnosed as a kid. I can best describe my ADHD as phasing in and out of the present moment, in a sort of fugue state with anxiety upfront because of knowing I should be doing something.
