Two months ago, I set out to escape Canadian winter and work remotely in a warmer climate. As a remote worker, I had the freedom to work abroad for a few months, but most of my friends weren't so fortunate. So I began searching online for communities of like-minded remote workers I can join. The search journey was tough. Popular communities were often fully booked out, and I found myself digging through old reddit posts, blog articles, abandoned websites, and random twitter threads searching for a suitable community. It was frustrating. When I finally found a community with availability in Medellin Colombia 🇨🇴 and arrived, I quickly realized it lacked the sense of community I was craving. That's when I decided to create colive values - a platform for remote workers to discover and book unique communities worldwide to work from 🌍, using a community-first values/interests based approach.
