cmdPlay is here to connect the world through what we all listen to, music. We aim for podcasters, streamers, and music lovers to allow their audiences to all listen to the same music, at the same time, no matter where they are in the world.
cmdPlay was started out of necessity for music lovers, streamers, and many others on Twitch. Due to DMCA rules, many streamers lost the ability to play music for their viewers.
While some temporary solutions have been used, cmdPlay is here to allow anyone with Spotify to start a listening session and have anyone else join in. cmdPlay synchronizes the music from the session owner to all other users listening in. This allows anyone to listen to the same song, at the same time, anywhere in the world, with their own Spotify account.
