👋 Hi Product Hunters! I'm Cinthya, Co-founder at Cloudy. My friend @jennmueng and I are super excited to share our new way of keeping tech docs up-to-date with AI. Thanks for stopping by! 🙅🏻‍♀️ As devs, we get it. No one likes writing technical documentation. It’s a pain to write it from scratch, re-read it to update it, and we would rather go back to building. Why do this manually when AI exists? That’s why, we are building Cloudy to help developers automatically create and maintain technical documentation without disrupting their coding workflow. Instead of trying to fully automate everything, we know there’s context, design decisions, etc that only YOU – the engineer who wrote the code – know that the code by itself doesn’t reflect. ☁️ Cloudy - the self-updating documentation platform connects and syncs your documentation and codebase like never before. 1️⃣ Generate a doc by referencing your existing codebase 2️⃣ Auto-generate relevant docs when a PR is created 3️⃣ Accept automatic suggestions to your linked documents when your code changes Try Cloudy free for a week, no credit card is required. We are bootstrapped and would really appreciate your feedback. I’ll be here all day answering questions and chatting in the comments. Leave your questions below! 👇 💻 PS: If you’re in an open-source project, email us at founders@usecloudy.com. We’d love to give you free access to Cloudy. And, thank you @sanjanaf for hunting us! :)

Congrats on the launch! This looks like a game-changer for dev teams. How do you handle different doc formats and languages?
Cinthya Jauregui
@ihuzaifashoukat Thanks! We're using Claude which generally can support different programming and other languages. Formatting, we provide a basic headers, sub header, paragraphs structure, but it can all be easily edited in the WYSIWYG editor
