Back in 2019 @brendonmcnerney and I started working on a short form video app for creators in a coffee shop and we’ve since gone on to raise capital, soft release a beta version, acquire our closest competitor byte, and build an incredible team and workspace. But today - we launch 🚀 iOS today and Android in the coming weeks.
At Clash, we’re pioneering a digital economy of recognition via an in-app digital good called “drops.” Drops are used to support your favorite creators to keep them creating and earning sustainable revenue. While many of the top famous creators we follow on IG, TikTok etc do earn handsomely (mainly from sponsored brand deals and ad rev share) the majority of creators (like 98% of them) struggle to earn a living creating. We aim to change that. The way Uber/Lyft/DoorDash make it possible to work for yourself “the gig economy” - we envision the same for creators “the creator economy.”
