CI Demon is a macOS application that puts all your CI information directly on your Desktop's status bar. Save time by not having to navigate to slow web apps. Get notifications when a build fails. Trigger re-builds at the click of a button.
@kevin_david_k It's not necessarily a feed you scroll through, but just a snapshot of the current state of your deployments.
It provides with a global overview of your CI jobs/builds/deployments, so you don't have to wait for slow web apps and allows you to quickly respond to incidents.
Congrats on the launch! I'd love to see a demo vid of this. In terms of security, how are ssh keys handled/maintained for remote CI deployment/restarting (I'm assuming that this system deals with remote potentially headless deployment)? Also, which CI systems do you support? Good luck!
@sach_r35 Thanks! yeah, actually a video is not a bad idea, I will make one.
The keys are stored locally in the macOS keychain, there is no back-end whatsoever (there isn't even analytics involved).
It supports:
Github Actions (via PRs)
Gitlab.com
Bitrise
AppCenter
TravisCI
CircleCI
Adding more systems is somewhat trivial though, as long as the service provides a public API it can be added.
@ospfranco Wow, platform looks awesome. I'm a fan (just bought it). Maybe consider setting up a PH specific deal (like a weekly free trial)? In general, a free trial might be something people would prefer as they might want to try it out. Regardless, the support you have is really extensive, and that is terrific. Good luck!
