Forecasting for developers

With Chrono, any developer can forecast like a pro. Chrono is a developer API that can rapidly ingest time series data and generate complex forecasts in milliseconds. There's nothing like it, because we use a specially developed algorithm that, just like your data, works in real time.

What do you think? …

See, here's the interesting part about marketing API services like this - there's a tendency to over index towards developers. Which is great and fine, but seems to be missing half the picture - like... what's the use case? It befuddles me that there isn't, on every API as a service landing page, a short description for product managers - even if its a template for them to literally copy/paste and send to their dev counterpart.

@shloky I really appreciate the feedback! A few in depth blog posts on particular use cases are in the pipeline, but you're right, we could do a better job plainly outlining our main use cases right on the landing page. I'll add that in.

Sure @jacqvon! Forecasting is an important way for any business to ensure it will have the revenue it needs to keep running, or the capacity to serve its customers. But time series forecasting is a specialised area within data science, and it can be hard to get all the relevant data in one place to make an accurate forecast. That's why I built Chrono. With Chrono, you don't have to be an expert forecaster, or even be that good at organising your data. You just send in new data as it arrives, and whenever you want to make a forecast, we'll predict what's going to happen next. Our model is a synthesis of the best-practice business forecasting approaches taken at companies like Facebook and Google, packaged in such a way that any developer can make use of them. Even better, our real time algorithm means that we can keep you supplied with up to date forecasts without ever storing your data! Chrono is super useful, even on our free plan, but we'll be offering higher capacity plans very soon. So drop a line if that sounds interesting.

But you don't need to take my word for it, you can try out the API on your own data, be sure to let us know how it goes!

Hey @leandataguy, This looks cool, can you tell us more about what you've created and why?
