Being your own boss is difficult. CheckWise makes it easier by giving you a supervisor that will check on you and ensure that you're not wasting your time. Raw and delicious social pressure will help you do that which is important but you keep putting off.
Hi hunters, 👋
I present you CheckWise, a human accountability service to get rid of procrastination.
We only procrastinate when we are on our own. To fix that, this service - aimed to you, lone wolves - assigns you a supervisor who will check with you two times per day:
☑️ 1. Before starting to work, to check what you have to do,
✅ 2. At the end of your working day, to check if you've done it.
This fuels your productivity with the beneficial effects of social accountability, which can work wonders if your To-Do list keeps growing bigger and bigger day after day (scary).
🧔 You will be checked by real human beings through email or Whatsapp. No bots nor apps here. Just raw, authentic, and delicious social pressure to push you to do that which is important but you keep putting off.
CheckWise also works well if you're using productivity apps - any.do, ToDoist, Trello, etc. We will be the human accountability touch that's missing in your daily routine.
🙌 As some of you might realize, CheckWise is inspired by the awesome "Boss as a Service" project made by @manasvinik, which was very much celebrated here in Product Hunt.
Unfortunately, Boss as a Service hasn't been accepting new users for some time (for obvious reasons, since every human-driven service has a limit in the number of users they can take). Seeing how some hunters are still looking for an accountability service like that, I decided to start CheckWise to help them get what they want - a more satisfying way of being productive.
☑️ We offer a 3-day free trial to new users and I encourage you to give it a try - even if just out of curiosity or for fun. Your feedback is invaluable to us so don't hold back! Every word will help us improve how we assist others in their personal war against procrastination.
🌐**Please note that as of now we're only accepting users located in European time-zones. Anyone living somewhere else, however, can enter their email at the bottom of the website and I will notify them whenever we are accepting users worldwide (with just a single short email, no marketing Jedi tricks).
@manasvinik@aleix_ramon Great product! I’m curious, what if you hit the same wall as Boos as a Service project? What can you do differently to scale it?
@manasvinik@ilonacodes I believe any people-centered service always ends up hitting a wall, but I don't see that as a major inconvenient. Personally, as long as the service helps people get more done - as BaaS does - and is sustainable on the long term, I'm happy about it, regardless of its size.
I could always keep hiring more people to keep growing, but if I was careless about it or I did it to fast things could get out of control and the service would get worse (because it's people, not software). That would be bad for the users, and they always go first.
