Two tips on the browser-based recording...
1) if you want recording to start immediately (without having to press the record button), we added this url:
https://www.camiocam.com/cam/record
That feature was added after someone asked to use CamioCam as a screensaver for his office computer at night.
2) leave the browser tab in the foreground when you lock your screen, since some browsers reduce the frame rate when the tab is not the top-most tab of the browser.

Record with any device you have at home. CamioCam also works with the Chrome and Firefox browsers, as well as with Internet-connected cameras.
To use CamioCam, all you have to do is download the app and press record. As long as the device is connected to electricity and Internet, the app will watch everything in its range and upload video footage of significant events, meaning moments when people are around or anything out of the norm is happening.
