Let's face it, while social media has done a nice job connecting people from all over the world, it has also introduced "mindless scrolling" on most platforms. This has become an issue for a lot of us and to help with it, Burnfeed is here. Burnfeed is a Safari extension that can modify webpages in order to hide the feed part in the most popular Social Media websites. This will come in useful because at times we need to use Social Media for other purposes or in order to message people but the Feed takes our attention. In case you want to check the Feed again, you have the option to enable it either for a limited period of time or indefinitely. Also, the inspiration to create this came from the very popular and open-source Chrome extension called "News Feed Eradicator" and since it was not on Safari, I really wanted to do it myself. Safari is the best browser to use if you wish to save battery but because it lacked this extension, I personally did not want to use it as I always would go to YouTube or other social media and start scrolling.

@chetan_natesh Thanks for the comment Chetan, the Mac App store does not have many extensions and so I will see how well it does organically first. So far it has been good.
