How many products have been launched?
Why will this work better than Co-founders Lab, Elance and other similar sites?
@bentossell I believe it just launched / relaunched today, but I'm sure @carlosgavina could chime in more. I also see this less as a "job board" like those sites, and more of a chance for designers & devs to find each other to build out products and apps.
@bentossel I also see this as a chance to bypass going the investor route if you need to build out a team for an idea. More "hey, that's some cool jazz right there, I want to be apart of that!" :)
@behoff yeah cofounders lab was not a job board...
And as a (previous founder?) I'd use Elance and others to find others to join a team so that's why my mind went to them :)
@bentossell Ah gotcha. I associate Elance with paying the professionals though. No? I think the idea of build it with me is to just join on to be apart of an awesome project and have equal investment into its future (or however the individuals tend to handle it).

I was wondering why I had a few Build It With Me notifications in my inbox this morning! I always felt it had huge potential. There're a few ideas for monetization - but nothing that would require users to pay to use the service - although for now we are just focused on fine tuning and the next features to make it easier and easier for people to connect and follow Ideas progress *wink*
