Hey ProductHunt, My co-founder Shiv and I recently graduated college and turned down our Big Tech offers to work on web3 projects together in April. After a few soft launches to our friends, HackerNews, and Reddit, we’re extremely excited to announce BlockTalk’s public beta! The problem: We noticed that it was hard to both easily see what our friends were doing on Ethereum AND interact with their activity in the same place. Existing products were either too difficult to understand or only let us passively view what our friends were doing. So, we decided to change that. The solution: Using just your Ethereum wallet (and no passwords!), you can create a BlockTalk account, load in all of your transactions and NFTs, and add descriptions to each of them. You can also follow anyone else who has made an account and like and comment on their transactions. To make it easier for your friends to find and recognize you, you can edit your profile to include a profile picture, your name, and a bio. Since we’re currently not storing any of this information on chain, the app is completely free.
