Blast Mic collapses the capabilities of a professional radio broadcast studio into a handheld portable device. Simply press the red button and speak into the microphone (or use one of the three audio inputs for external audio sources) to instantly broadcast over Wi-Fi to the Blast Radio platform.

What do you think? …

Vasili Chyrvon
Huh? What a brilliant idea! Is it possible to broadcast to the any other service (like soundcoud etc)?
Landin King
Hey @vasili_chyrvon! Thanks for the comment! There aren't really options for other platforms that stream live audio in the quality we do. Most live platforms are either based on VoIP protocol (much lower KHZ / quality) or built for video (not audio). So, for now, streaming only goes to the Blast Radio platform. BUT -- after you broadcast, you can always download the file as a lossless .wav and post it anywhere you like (including SoundClound!).

@landin_king Very nice! Downloading is more than enough on my opinion. Thanks for the reply!

This is dope! Can I use the mic just as a microphone when I'm not trying to broadcast live?
Su Özer
@charleton Hey there! Yes -- You can do a 'Sound Check' on Blast Radio which would be completely private on the platform and only available to you as the creator. You can then download your Sound Check in lossless audio format!
Landin King
@charleton -- the device also has two headphone outputs. So you can use one of those with a standard aux cable to connect those to a mixer, audio interface etc. and just use it as a normal mic! @su_ozer

With Blast Mic, anyone can host their own radio show, live, with one button. No technical expertise needed. Just connect to Wi-Fi and start talking.
