The first mobile app to track your dating app matches, no matter where you met. From swipe to smooch, remember the important details you share with each other. From the app you move to a secure messaging platform, you end up texting don't get it twisted.
This product was inspired by my own experience of actively dating on multiple apps. The pain point, for me, was keeping track of the little details. After you match, you move from app of origin to a secure messaging platform, then possibly to text. That's a lot of information to keep track of. Bl@ckbook allows you to quickly and easily take screenshots of a dating app profile, add the important details shared in your chats, and create a helpful profile that allows you to remember that Colby is the dentist and Carley works in tech.
Pay Attention. Get Attention.
Interesting idea @cheri_ruane, a few years ago when I was active on the apps, I would have tested it out firsthand. But I'm off the market (for good). So, I'll just ask some questions about it: does it automatically port your matches from the various apps (Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, et al) to Bl@ckbook? Or does the user have to screenshot and manually input information (including the app where they matched)? If it's automatic, which apps are already interfaced? Any that you're aware of that aren't but that you're working on (e.g., Raya, Luxy, etc)?
@asglenn Hi There! Thanks for the question, it's a good one. Bl@ckbook is not currently integrated directly with dating apps, there's a whole API security challenge around it. Currently, users screenshot and hit the share button to start a profile then input the specific insights gleaned through the actual conversation along with any additional photos that have been shared. In order to integrate directly, I need consent from the dating app itself. I'm in conversations with a few Tier 2 and Tier 3 dating apps who might see some mutual benefit in the integration. It's unlikely the Tier 1 apps will see benefit in directly integrating with Bl@ckbook because it pulls users into a different app and enables management of matches from other platforms. This continues to be something I'm thinking about and am always interested in creative ways to mitigate these challenges.
Tier 2 / Tier 3 dating apps might see benefit because Bl@ckbook could then introduce their app to new users that haven't heard of them yet.
