Hello fellow Product Hunters and Builders! Thank you for taking the time to look into my project. For years I looked for a good way to give Bitcoin as a gift to my friends, family or colleagues. Asking them for their Bitcoin wallet address is very impersonal. It takes away the pleasant surprise of unwrapping a physical gift! I talked to many fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts who wanted to do the same. I soon realized there was no good way of doing this. Therefore, we had to build it ourselves. I got to work with our team at a BitNax, we build and manage technology solutions for Bitcoin, so this project was a perfect fit. We created a physical Bitcoin Gift Card which met all of our expectations. Elegantly designed, secured and easy to use. We received very good feedback from our beta users. It helped us make every aspect of the card even better. First, we did away with KYC (Know Your Client). Second, we eliminated expensive commissions, and third, you can pay with BTC. We made is as simple as it gets yet very secure. Easy to load Bitcoin on the card and easy for anyone to redeem it. This is the best time to give Bitcoin as a gift.
