Hello PH community 👋🐱 I’m Alesya, a designer of Bitcoin & Crypto Price widget. On behalf of our team, I’d like to share the story behind our apps. The idea of the widgets was related to the release of iOS14. This iOS version gave users the opportunity to add widgets to their Home screen. We researched some examples of widgets in the market and came up with the idea of our widget. As our main products http://capital.com & http://currency.com are the platforms for trading, the idea to track crypto quotes was obvious. It took just 2 weeks to develop the first test version of our app from scratch. After the first release, the app gained some traction, so the team decided to focus their efforts on improving the widgets. Since the initial release, we have polished the overall design of the widgets, added a lot more cryptos and base currencies to track, and recently, Lock Screen widgets for iOS16 devices were added. We also released an Android version, fully embracing its higher customization abilities such as offering to show crypto prices right in your Notification Center.
