Just Launched: Bhadaas.app – A Safe Space to Vent Anonymously
I’m excited to announce the official launch of Bhadaas.app – a simple, therapeutic web app that lets you let it all out without judgement.
Whether you're stressed, overwhelmed, or just need to voice your thoughts without filters, Bhadaas is here for you.
Why Bhadaas?
In a world where we're constantly expected to stay composed and curated, emotions often get bottled up. Bhadaas is my attempt to create a digital sanctuary – a place where anyone can:
Record or upload voice notes anonymously
Listen to others' anonymous vents and realize you're not alone
Find relief in expressing your raw, unfiltered emotions
No accounts. No names. Just release.
Bhadaas isn't a social network. It's not about likes or followers. It's about being heard without being seen.
Design Ethos:
The app uses a soft-neumorphic, minimal design to make users feel calm, safe, and focused on expression. No clutter. Just a clean space to unburden.
Built With:
Firebase (backend)
TypeScript & React
Audio processing APIs
A lot of empathy.
This is just the beginning. I have big plans ahead: mobile version, optional AI-assisted journaling, emotion tagging, and more.
If you're curious, try it out or share it with someone who might find it helpful.
Now fully screen-reader friendly with giant tap targets, voice-over support, and a truly anonymous venting experience.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Last week, we launched Bhadaas.app—a simple, anonymous 60-second audio “scream room” that auto-deletes after 24 hrs. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce our Accessibility Edition, built hand-in-hand with blind and low-vision users to make emotional release universal.
🌟 What’s New in the Accessibility Edition
Screen-Reader Ready All buttons, tabs, and audio controls have ARIA labels and are fully navigable via VoiceOver & TalkBack.
Giant Single-Tap Record Button No fiddly UI—tap once to record up to 60 seconds, tap again to stop. Easy for anyone with limited dexterity.
Linear, Scrollable Feed A simple, uninterrupted list of anonymous Bhadaas. Blind users can swipe through and play every outburst without hidden menus.
High-Contrast Themes WCAG-compliant colour schemes and adjustable text sizes for users with low vision.
No Sign-Up Required True anonymity + no password challenges = frictionless access for everyone.
🎧 Why It Matters
Emotions don’t wait for perfect conditions—neither should your outlet. By making Bhadaas truly accessible, we’re ensuring everyone, whether blind, elderly, or anyone else, can find relief, feel heard, and connect through voice.
🛠 Built With
React & TypeScript
Firebase (Auth, Storage, Functions)
Web Accessibility Standards (ARIA, semantic HTML)
👉 Try it out: https://bhadaas.app ❤️ Upvote if you believe emotional health should be barrier-free 💬 We’d love your feedback on other accessibility features to add!
