Don’t know what to watch on Netflix? I created a website that sorts all the Netflix catalog by IMDb rating and lets you filter by year, genre, movie type, number of votes, and you can even save your wishlists!
I realized that I spent more time thinking about a movie to watch rather than watching the movie itself. I thought that a way to solve this was to cross-link the Netflix catalog with the IMDb database and add a bunch of filters (such as genres, years, number of votes, e.g.) to pinpoint your favorite content. So I did!! Hope you like the product. All feedback is welcome :D
Very nice and useful!! I love that you can filter by amount of votes and also by year! Is the data updated periodically so new movies/series are also included?
@eliesing Thanks for your comment Elies. Indeed, the features of filtering by the number of votes and year were suggestions from my "beta testers". I try to update the catalog once a month but it is a very manual process and sometimes I can't have the time for it. If the launch goes well I may invest a bit more in this! :)
