BeamBeams is created with a mission to democratize AR for businesses and customers alike. We aim to level the playing field for SMEs by providing an accessible digital showroom that might otherwise cost a fortune for individual merchants to adopt. A majority of surveyed customers said they would feel more confident about committing to make online purchases if they had the option to virtually preview or try on products beforehand. However, typically only enterprises with exorbitant budgets could afford to invest in (usually closed-platform) AR showrooms. The BeamBeams team wants to change that status quo. We developed an affordable, user-friendly way for small business owners to virtually showcase their products with AR support. As a starting point, we are introducing an online marketplace where sellers can easily list their products to be shown in AR, while prospective buyers can “teleport” items into their own home — or anywhere they want, for that matter. And if customers like what they see, they can go straight to checkout right on the platform. We strive to make the whole process as hassle-free as possible.
