Improve your BBQ results with notes and photos about what worked and what didn't. Quickly review relevant items as messages to your 'future self' before your next cook. An essential tool in your quest for the perfect BBQ.
I'm not a griller (my friend in Dallas does all the BBQ for me) but I love that you created something that scratched your own itch!
Congrats on building and launching this!
@andrew_tsao Thanks! Please encourage your friend and Dallas to try BBQdit, and let me know if he (or you) have any suggestions for additional features.
I'm an avid griller and smoker, and I have frequently regretted that I didn't write down what I did 'last time', so I could apply that knowledge to what I was doing next. So I built the tool I needed to do that myself, and I hope others will find it valuable, too.
A virtual cooking log is far better than paper notes because it's easy to find relevant info with keyword searches, rather than rifling through a notebook. And, as anyone who participates in BBQ-related online communities knows, if there aren't photos it didn't happen 🙂.
The app is FREE to try with an in-app purchase after storage of six (6) separate cooks.
I'm particularly interested in feedback and suggestions for additional features.
