Everyone should be backing up their databases on a daily basis, at least. We use Cloud66 to manage a number of our DevOps, including backups, but if you're too small and don't want to automate this in-house, seriously consider something like this. Just don't forget to encrypt it to keep it safe. I could see privacy being the biggest concern with using a third-party.
