This tool is a whole bunch of great SEO tools bundled up into one neat package. You get: - SEO Content Editors - SERP analysis - Keyword Idea Generator - Website Audits - AI, WP, and Pixabay Integration - 100% customizable theme & fonts - AI Client Prompt Tool
I built Back SEO Content Editor because as a writer, it was such a joy to use SEO content editors every time a client had one available. They improved my writing so much, but after looking at the costs of those editors, I was honestly disgusted. How are small agencies able to afford that? To post 1 article per day is going to cost upwards of $300, and that's not even close to the bulk amount of articles that most content writers write. So, I decided to code my own tool.
I've made lots of personal SEO tools in the past, but never one on this scale. Learning about all the different licenses in products, I had to change NLP algorithms 3 times to find the one that is currently in Back SEO. Fortunately, it's very lightweight, and performs very well.
This is really an amalgamation of a lot of personal SEO projects that I've done in the past, with a pretty sweet looking front-end UI, if I'm being honest. I'm relatively new to front-end development, but it's kinda fun when you introduce back-end elements for efficiency. But you don't care about that, you care about what more is coming to Back SEO.
Plans for the future include:
- more visuals and easier to work with layouts (when you do a search with 100 results, it's kinda hard to see)
- more default fonts, maybe some markdown format as well with the fonts.
- Better AI generators (the Writing Clients section is 100% customizable, but I want the authority engine to be much more complete and better)
- Better image generation (currently it's pretty generic, and not 100% the best, but it gets the job done of finding a fast featured image for free)
- Options for heavier loads (Back SEO is really lightweight, like, less than 100mb. You're probably using more RAM looking at Product Hunt than the amount of space Back SEO takes up. I want power users to be able to push it to the limits they want to go)
- Multi-proxy support, Rotating residential proxies is ideal for power users, but we can do better.
- Fuller keyword generation. Using the Generate Ideas tab with Google Keyword Tool works great, and you can already generate 200-2000 keywords in <10 seconds. But what about recursively finding keywords? Use generated keywords to generate more keywords. Also utilize more keyword generation engines, currently we use one, and there are many available.
- Dev plugin support. I want to include the community on this project. Having the option to build plugins is one of my favorite things in certain programs, and can really build a sense of community, as well as create a much fuller app.
- More API integrations. Yes, we need more.
You might get a pop-up from windows telling you that this is untrusted. I assure you nothing is malicious about the code. Recently, like in July, Microsoft changed the way they issue certificates, so the code signing verification process is taking a lot longer than expected. Support is also not great with any of the certificate authorities, especially for solo developers.
@jmpeters Currently everything is written in English, but if you use a custom font (one is automatically included in the installer) then it should be able to parse German characters. It can technically parse the characters in the backend by default, but with the default font, those characters will show up as '?'s on the front end.
Congratulations on the launch! This all-in-one SEO toolkit looks like a game-changer for digital marketers. Wishing you all the best as you help users level up their SEO strategies. Good luck!
