Create virtual access codes for visitors and deliveries. No hardware to install or integration needed. Works with any wireless building buzzer and intercom system.
@igorzij Hi Igor, good question. The key is that it does _not_ require you to replace the existing system - since it's a shared system, you probably don't have permission nor access to replace/make changes to it. It works by giving you a virtual phone number (an "AutoIntercom number"). Then all you have to do is ask your property manager to change the number on file so that it points to your AutoIntercom number instead of your own cell phone number.
@jonathan_wu2 Good point. It also occurred to me that it would be useful to AirBnB hosts, and that's where the idea for the "Professional" and "Enterprise" plans came in. Imagine how much money AirBnB's spend just replacing/rekeying keys/fobs lost by guests... This can eliminate that by not having to share physical keys at all (plus not having to buzz people in at 3am for a late check-in).
I built this product to solve a personal problem. I live in a condo building, and I've always wanted to automate entry into my unit for cleaning crew, pet sitters, family, etc. I could certainly do all of that with a smart lock on my door - however, my guests still would have to get through the building door before my smart lock provided any value.
This is my solution to that problem, so that both my building/common door as well as my unit door can be automated with access codes/virtual keys and my guests can get into my unit entirely on their own - without sharing physical keys/fobs (which is always a security risk and a big pain when they are lost, not to mention some keys aren't allowed to be copied).
I built this over the last two weeks and would love to hear your feedback. Thanks!
