We are Francescu and Jean, the makers for Arrow. We are passioned about motion design, especially when non-designers can play with it. We made the animated typography app Legend. We just left GoPro and the amazing Quik team to dive into AR.
Arrow is an iOS app that makes fun text & emojis animations in Augmented Reality ✨🌈
We want to make user content creation possible in AR, that feels personal and takes full advantage of space. This version is a first attempt in that direction.
For us, it is the beginning of an exciting journey in consumer AR. We plan to add a lot more stuff to the app, even beyond texts & emojis.

I have been playing with the beta for a few weeks, and Jean & Francescu are definitely onto something. They had launched trends with Legend, and the Replay team, pretty sure this is the next one!
I was able to use the beta for the past weeks. It really adds meaning to your videos and help with the storytelling. I expect some creators to do some crazy stuff with it.
The future of video is editing while you’re capturing and they’re spot on with this AR app.
The team is also incredibly smart and fast. I am really looking forward to seeing how the product evolves.
