Add any text, emojis, photos, videos, import your 3D models to the Augmented Reality scene and shoot video clips. You can have a solid colour, camera feed (blur, edge work, pixelize, etc) or hi-res 360° photos (HDRI) for the background of your scene.
This project started as a one weekend hack when I created a tool for me and my band to shoot a simple music video using Augmented Reality. We had prepared some transparent image assets, some lyrics in a form of text, bundled all of that into the iOS app and simply took footage of each other and those assets in 3D space.
I found the concept quite interesting. So later, I decided to invest more time. The app now allows user to import it's own assets, I made things customisable.
Now it looks like a product. But the hard part is to find out who would ever find it useful, to find at least one valueble use case for it.
I created a series of Tutorial videos (posted on YouTube) for this app - all by using the app itself! So, created a scene in 3D space and shot the tutorials in my room.
An animated GIF for ProductHunt icon you see in this page was made out of the video I shot with AR Shoot Pro ;) So there’s definitely a use case and a user for it - it’s just not clarified yet.
