Animockup is a web-based tool that helps you create animated mockups for your product teasers. Add gradient backgrounds, browse through 20+ mockups, customize the export settings, and much more.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Whenever I have a new product launch, I like to create a short teaser video that showcases its features to share on Twitter and Product Hunt. They tend to be pretty effective, getting a lot of engagement on Twitter (for example, for Sonuum I got ~400K impressions in a tweet with the teaser 📈) and helping me get to the top of Product Hunt (like Mapus, with over 1.2K upvotes, #2 top product of the day, and #3 of the week 🏆).
I built Animockup for this purpose a year ago, making it easier to create product teasers without having to use tools like After Effects (which are expensive and a bit complicated to use). Today I decided to relaunch it to help you create even more beautiful product teasers, so you can get more engagement on your product launches and announcements ✨
Here are some of its features:
📹 Add a video or image of the product you want to showcase
📱 Choose from 20+ device mockups and frames
✂️ Crop and reposition your video in the mockup screen
🎨 Customize the background, with gradients
✏️ Add text and images to enhance your video
🪄 Choose the start and end animations from multiple presets
⏱ Set the video duration and change the easing of the animation
🎚️ Set the framerate, export format, and resolution
...and much more!
Hope you like it, and feel free to share any feedback, I really appreciate it! ❤
@alyssaxuu omg, I’ve been looking for something like this for forever 😩 so happy you made this, it looks super slick and easy to use. Definitely gonna give it a roll
Great set of mockups and animations, the only difficulty is that it's not possible to scale the mockup proportionally holding shift button as in other image editors.
@marenkovcyril Thanks! That's a Fabric.js feature, when you hold shift it unlocks the aspect ratio. You can scale proportionally by scaling normally without holding any key. I will investigate to see if I can disable that though :)
@alyssaxuu thanks for you answer, thats not obvious, interaction pattern is very different from other editors, maybe it's easier to add an explainer than change the whole code 👀
Cooool! ^_^ Amazing tool! Thank you for realizing and sharing this with us! It surely gives many possibilities for creations of interesting teasers without struggles! Can't wait to try it! ^_^
@alyssaxuu Could you tell me please in which format is possible to save a project? Does Animockup 2.0 enable us to save it as a gif or in some video format perhaps? :)
@maria_brm Hi, in the free version you can export the video as WEBM, but in the pro version you can also export as MP4 and GIF (as well as in different resolutions + framerates) :)
