A physical analytics tag that uses an accelerometer to capture motion events, and then posts them to your server backend using Blecon. Think AirTags for data, and for integrating into your own software product to get data about real-world events and state.
@simon_blecon this looks very promising! That's the kind of things one upvote to keep it handy. What use cases have you witness so far? How does the charging works?
@eduard_poche the first use case for this is tool monitoring (when and how much are tools used - just ziptie it on), but an accelerometer is surprisingly flexible. So motion/vibration/impact for things being used seems a common one (someone using a door, sanitiser pump, forklift are examples), but in theory you could also detect state (orientation, tilt etc - like a post, window, valve etc). Interested what/how people solve things when they have the constraints of a tool!
Charging is just a magnetic charger (supplied by 5v/usb)
@ratindra_sharma thanks! Yes, always interesting to hear the use cases people come up with!
It’s going to get really interesting when we have versions that can run ML, and camera based ones!
