Love the concept, would consider renaming it. Amazon is a bear with their IP and if you grow big enough they will probably come after it for the name being so close that it could “cause confusion”
@julio_medina Yes...I was thinking the same thing...Amaze.ai or even something right off Amazon that says something about the indie, early stage and product concept aspects....
You know, I really like this idea....what a great way to get early validation for a product concept. I guess I wonder where the money goes if a product does not reach the threshold...might be good if that were mention on front page...but well done on an original take on monitoring early concepts/ideas.
@simon_s_j Thanks very much for the kind words and feedback Simon, it's really helpful and I'm pleased you like it! I'm still ironing out the creases at the moment and I want to be very transparent with our supporters. I'll give it some thought and I think you're right about adding more clarity on the site - even a step-by-step breakdown of how we intend to launch the products would be useful. It's something I've been thinking about. Potentially I can offer supporters a chance to move their token investment into another more popular product, however at the moment there is no timescale either so that's something I will need to consider and develop. Running costs are quite high so really the £1 donation serves an indicator of interest at this stage.
