Hey Product Hunters! ⛰️ First release of Alper! I have always wanted to have the same level of information in Europe as the US when it comes to national parks. However, it does not exist in the same way. This is why I created Alper. I want to help travellers experience national parks without having to spend a ton of time doing research. I love spending time in nature and Alper is the tool I needed for my own travels. Hopefully others will be able to find inspiration the same way I do. 🌲 Experience nature There are approximately 450 national parks in Europe. You are likely to be quite close to one in most European countries. Alper provides you with insights into sights, hikes, visitor centers, animals and much more. I'm expanding the selection as fast as possible to create a great source for information. 💸 Completely free for now I have not yet decided on a strategy for monetization. The current features will remain free forever. I'm planning on adding extended offline map support and new features in the upcoming year. 💡 A work in progress Alper is very much a work in progress. This is the initial beta release and I only have a fraction of the national parks listed in the app. I would love some feedback on the concept or specific feature requests for the app.
