Development and deployment time has been significantly reduced with minimal adjustments.
Congrats on the launch! 🎉 I once had to localize a product into 4 languages — it was slow and painful, especially managing consistency. Algebras AI looks like the kind of tool I wish I had back then. Excited to see how it grows!
Algebras AI
👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Aira Mongush, CEO of Algebras AI, and today we’re launching our first open-source tool: an auto-localization utility for Next.js apps with:
built-in QA-safe UI mode
compatible with any LLM API
a free tier of Algebras Localization Agent's credits which translates your app fluently into 300+ languages with one line of code
Who it's for:
Next.js devs, indie hackers, and global product teams who want fast, scalable localization without broken layouts or inflated costs.
Why we built it:
Our team has supported dozens of endangered languages spoken by millions — we’ve partnered with Google Translate, contributed to open-source language tech, and were featured at EMNLP 2024. We kept hitting the same bottleneck: localizing apps is tedious, expensive, and prone to UI bugs. So we built the tool we always needed.
Under the hood, our base agent outperforms SOTA models on MT benchmarks across most major Asian languages — and it’s free and open source.

Big thanks to our hunter @mituhin , Language Preservation communities for supporting us.
We’ll be here all day — drop your toughest localization use-case or feedback and we’ll jump in to help (or ship a fix)!
@mituhin @aira_mongush Impressive and interesting, good luck with the launch!
Can you please clarify what part have you open-sourced?
Did you train your own model to perform better or fine-tuned/made wrapper prompts for existing models? (Both would still be valuable and impressive, just wanted to clarify)
Algebras AI
@mituhin @aira_mongush @arssirek Hey there:)
Yep, we have trained our own models (and enabled prompting for any users)
Also, we are proud to share that our agent outperforms SOTA models on MT benchmarks across most major Asian languages — and it’s free and open source.
Thank you for your support! 🚀
Algebras AI
@arssirek Thanks for the thoughtful question, Arsen!
We’ve open-sourced the CLI tool itself — it handles file parsing, translation diffing, glossary enforcement, and layout-safe translation control.

The translation layer is not a custom model — it's an agentic router that selects between existing models (OpenAI, NLLB, Google, etc.) per language pair + use case. We've built prompt wrappers, length constraints, glossary logic, and model benchmarks on top — but not fine-tuned new base models (yet).
Happy to go deeper if you're curious about routing or glossary memory behavior!
@mituhin @aira_mongush waiting for this one to train some Greek-Cypriot localization!
Algebras AI
@mituhin @liza_sukhorukova that's the key question we hear from community on Cyprus!
I’ve been following these guys’ work. In my opinion, they’ve done something really important for the preservation of minority languages.@mituhin @aira_mongush
@mituhin @aira_mongush Really interesting project — big congrats on the launch
Kalyxa
@mituhin @aira_mongush This looks like a game-changer for Next.js devs and global teams! The QA-safe UI mode and multi-LLM compatibility tackle localization pain points many overlook. Love that it’s open source and free to start—can’t wait to see how it helps scale multilingual apps smoothly.
👏 Incredible work, team!
As someone who’s worked on multilingual apps before, I know how frustrating localization can be — especially balancing speed, accuracy, and UI integrity.
The fact that Algebras AI offers seamless integration with Next.js, is open-source, and even supports 300+ languages — that’s a game changer. Love the clean UI and the thoughtfulness behind the built-in QA mode.
Excited to see where this goes — best of luck with the launch 🚀
Happy to support!

Flipner AI
Congratulations on the launch! Looks super sleek — what’s been the most surprising use case you’ve seen so far?
