Is this data being normalized in any way? i would suspect that people are more likely to tweet about a negative experience than a positive one (no news is good news) and Iceland air which scored a perfect 10 sees fewer chances for negative sentiment than United Airlines, which is near the bottom of the list.
@joshbarkin I would imagine they haven't scaled for passenger numbers. British Airways below Ryanair? Come on.
Plus how popular is Twitter in certain regions of the world?
I love the idea, But the data means not much at the moment to me. I would love if it was a tally of good news vs bad news per airline.
Then airlines couldn't hide how bad they are and you would be plotting them against each other.
ie, only way to get good reviews is have a good product/service.
One edge case problem would be airlines start using bots to post false good news.
( I had a scroll and saw good and bad tweets)
