As a marketing professional, I had always relied on my intuition to guide my campaigns and target my audience. But six years ago, I decided to take a deeper dive into data science and use it to predict the outcomes of my marketing efforts. It was love at first sight! I became fascinated by the power of unsupervised learning to cluster my audience and dimensionality reduction to enrich their profiles with psychographic information. And when I discovered generative AI and the incredible world of transformers, I was hooked. Two years ago, I started teaching a course on AI for marketing at an academy, and the demand was so high that I started offering the course to professionals as well. Since then, I've trained over 500 professionals from a wide range of industries, including finance, retail, aviation, e-commerce, and news. As part of my course, I always spend the first few hours introducing students to the vast array of AI tools available for marketing. But the list kept growing, and I realized that there wasn't a single directory dedicated to these tools. So, I decided to create one myself. And thus, the Getinference AI Tools Radar was born. The name "Getinference" comes from the idea that as practitioners, we often spend too much time on preparation and cleaning, rather than focusing on the "so what" - in other words, figuring out what to do with the insights we gain from our predictions and clusters. I hope that this directory will prove useful to you, and I encourage you to join the community and contribute by asking and answering questions. Together, we can unlock the full potential of the machine-human alliance in marketing.
