Hey Everyone, I recently launched a platform close to my heart AI Agents for Machines, and I d love to open up a conversation around some ideas and questions
1 What is AI Agents for Machines ?
It s a platform that lets you build & test AI agents designed to control real-world machines. It talks to sensors & actuators using the communication protocols like OPC UA , MQTT, REST , ROS functions, machine skills meaning it can understand machine states , plan, reason and act accordingly.
2 Why this matters:
Machines are getting smarter, but most still rely on static logic or hardcoded rules. We re aiming to bridge that gap giving developers the tools to build AI agents that can reason, decide, and act autonomously.
3 Who is this for? (Agents for Human machine collaboration)
Engineers building industrial systems, smart factory developers, researchers in robotics/automation, and tinkerers who want their machines to do more with less input.

This sounds like an incredible leap forward for industrial automation! I love the idea of AI agents making real-time, intelligent decisions on the shop floor. How do you envision businesses adopting this technology at scale, especially in industries with legacy systems?
Ai Agents for Machines
@jonurbonas Thank you! I'm glad you find the potential of AI agents in industrial automation exciting!
For businesses to adopt this technology at scale, especially in industries with legacy systems, integration needs to be a gradual and modular process. The AI agent framework is designed to be adaptable, leveraging the OPC UA communication protocol, which is widely supported in industrial environments, including legacy systems. This allows interaction without requiring a complete overhaul of existing infrastructure.
Companies can start by deploying AI agents for specific use cases, such as real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, or automated decision-making in controlled environments. Over time, as confidence in the system grows, they can scale its adoption across different production lines or facilities.
Additionally, interoperability is key. By ensuring that these AI agents can work alongside traditional PLCs and SCADA systems, businesses can modernize their operations incrementally, reducing costs and downtime while maximizing efficiency.
Would love to hear your thoughts—do you see specific challenges in legacy system integration that concern you?
