I signed up for ActiVote and found out about a local election in May that I didn't even know about! Now I know who's running and everything that's on the ballot. Just put in your address and ActiVote can keep you informed about when to vote and what's on the ballot!

Democracy is at its best when the most people participate. But participation in the US is hard when the media wants to enrage you, candidates only want their voters showing up and citizens are increasingly frustrated with the system.
