I am passionate about my creation. We are in Beta and will launch the live version very soon. Follow your dreams and have faith in all that you do! I was a young mom learning to pay bills. Traditional methods were not working for me. My bills kept increasing and I had trouble balancing my money from paycheck to paycheck. I would often forget that I wrote a check or spent money because I thought all my bills had cleared. I quickly learned I needed to “Balance” my bills. I decided to create my own spreadsheet and keep it simple. I began working long hours and eventually had trouble updating my spreadsheet. It was too complicated. So, I added columns that I thought would help. I then began adding formulas to help with the calculations. I soon realized I needed color coding. I still had to do everything manually and sometimes the formulas would get messed up. But overall, I could keep making it work with some determination. Here is what I learned .... Although most pay checks are weekly or bi-weekly, billing dates tend to fall into different pay periods. This causes an imbalance in spending money or a false sense of wealth. Monies are then spent that should have been allocated or set aside for upcoming bills. When it comes time to pay those bills, we are then faced with the thought that we do not have enough money to pay them. It starts to feel like a constant struggle. After several formula mishaps, I decided to create an app that would encompass all the great things a spreadsheet could provide without the hassle of fixing formulas. My solution... I created the 5 Dollar Bill HelperTM with its trusty sidekick, the Bill BalancerTM mobile application. This app can stop this vicious cycle of financial imbalance. The user can view the current and upcoming pay periods with the bills listed. If an imbalance is noted, the user will have the ability to apply the Bill BalancerTM. The Bill BalancerTM splits monies from one pay period to another. This feature can be edited, and manually split payments can be entered. This app helps users to balance bills and spending money. Savings can be included, if desired and is recommended. The 5 Dollar Bill HelperTM was created using real life situations. Learn the right way to balance your bills. This is the easiest and most effective app to use. If an app is too complicated or cumbersome you won’t continue to use it. So, we developed the 5 Dollar Bill HelperTM with everyone in mind.

Dear Alora, I see you put a lot of work into this, which is great because it shows perseverance. But I can't be 'nice' to be pleasant. This is my hard truth; I know at least ten other apps doing what you did and probably better because they have been around for multiple years. Even my banking app has all of your functionalities. Furthermore, I can't recommend going into fintech because you need a lot of backing, and it takes at least 6th months to get the financial licenses to operate. People are nowadays lazy; you can expect them to track their expenses when you can retrieve them through an API call of your bank. I hope this is an MVP test and not a finished app because I am 9/10 sure you will not retrieve the ROI. Excuse me if I step on your feelings. It is better to learn these hard lessons now before you scale. For example, if Jeff Bezos made an assumption, like you did, to do strategy A instead of B and found out later, he would be misguided. To fix his clusterfuck, he has gone to endless meetings because the damage has already been done. One good thing about our universe is that it won't put you in such a position if you aren't ready. Take it from me, an entrepreneur since 2017; finding product-market fit is tricky because if you care, it's not enough. You will get there eventually, but probably not with this product. I write this not out of criticism but from a place of love; I want you to succeed because you deserve to be successful, rich, and free.

@jas801 hello jasper, thank you for your reply. Please know that I have done extensive research for this project. I have had patent searches done and no one has a patent for future forecasting and balancing bills and spending . There are several other programs out there, yes. Some try to offer envelopes and others giving a job to your money. My app will look at the rent that is due in a month and split the money over a four to six week period. Secondly, you can either change the status and do manual entries or link your account through Plaid. And lastly, the app adds up all the pending and unpaid bills for that pay period and shows you’re left to clear. While some apps may have these functionality they do not offer or show them all together. My patent is unique. I do not take offense. The app will either fail or succeed. And chances are even if you test the app I will still make money on the data.
