Email Meter is a tool that pulls your email data every month and sends you a report with analytics and detailed statistics. Email Meter is developed and maintained by ShuttleCloud, a software platform that powers consumer email migration solutions for several large enterprises, including Google, Comcast, Yahoo and TWC.
My BD team and I use email meter for better timing when reaching out to prospects. It also gives us a lot of great personal metrics like response time that helps us see what we need to improve. Great tool, would recommend to any email marketer.

You don’t have to worry about your data security. Email Meter only accesses your email metadata, which is always encrypted and never leaves the Google Cloud. We only request a Gmail API access level called "metadata" which includes the email headers ONLY — that is, we don't request access to the body or attachments.
To be able to use that Gmail scope we're verified yearly by Google, with a rigorous audit conducted by a third party.

@itsmattmac Hey Matt, I just wanted to add that we don't use the metadata for any other purpose, just analytics. Our business model is based on paying customers that need advanced analytics, and our Privacy Policy states that we won't sell this data to 3rd parties, aside from subprocessors.
