What annoys you the most about online meetings and what do you do to avoid it?

I, for one, hate how frustrating it is to find a time that suits everyone. It drives me nuts, it's like trying to decide what Netflix movie to watch. I just end up hating everything and going to sleep. And do you know how I fixed this problem? I created a new platform for online meetings! And now its 2.0 version is here. online meetings are so frustrating if unplanned and I had no option but to attend. Sometimes I skip saying network issues :p

Everything. Everything about online meetings - from the chaos of unprepared hosts to the feeling like I've wasted two hours of my life annoys me to death! I'm so glad I stumbled upon Sessions when I did, it makes online meetings soooo much better! Upvoted, hope so many people will try out Sessions!

I participated in an online course, and all of the speakers hate the way that they saw only themselves on the screen, on full screen. The only way to share materials was to use the share screen method. What a shame...this isn't professional. Months ago switched to sessions, it's an all-in-one tool, way better. Love it!

I try to avoid the meeting at all costs, but if I can't, I just enforce a well defined agenda so I can keep it clean and tight. That's why Sessions is the best tool for my needs.

The fact that they shouldn't even be a meeting in the first place. "let's hop on to take a look at what I'm seeing on my end". This should just be a loom video to review async, not a meeting.

Frequent online meetings are annoying. 1-2 meetings a week is fine. But daily meetings is a pain in the neck. I don't do this to my team. If my boss does this to us, I always voice out my sentiments and tell them that we could have done or accomplished a lot instead of having frequent meetings. Besides the subject matter of the meeting can be sent via Slack or email.

I guess if you are meeting with someone who is holding the phone in his/her hand and keeps on moving around the room. My migraine is not gonna forgive that. I can't avoid it so I turn away my screen a little bit and chat with the person nicely.
